About the Artist

Angelwear Creations is the brainchild of Angela Jones, a Seattle area artist with a dry wit and eye for colored stones. When asked for a short artist's biography in the past she has stated, "I make jewellery. Sometimes I eat donuts." We think we can provide more detail than that.

Angela has been making jewellery since she was twelve. In a brilliant marriage of her passion to learn more about making jewellery and a strong desire to get out of her parent's home, Angela went to Berkeley, California to pursue artisthood. After leaving Berkeley, she moved to Canada for several years before returning her residence to the States in 2000. She currently resides in Woodinville, Washington (outside of Seattle) with her cat, Horatio.

Angela has been selling her wares at science fictions conventions since 1989. She debuted on the Worldcon scene in 1993 in San Francisco with people five deep in front of her table and has been a regular at Worldcons and larger east and west coast regional science fiction convention ever since.
